Nationalism is domestic terrorism with better branding.
They told you to salute. They wrapped the bomb in a flag and called it freedom. They taught you enemies were born elsewhere — but the ones who starved your town wore suits and gave speeches in your name.
It doesn’t protect you. It protects those who own the system that feeds on you.
They call it unity. But it’s just obedience with better colors.
You are not free when your worth is measured by your borders. You are not safe when your rage is aimed at outsiders, not overlords.
Wrapped in parades. Sold with fireworks. Weaponized in elections.
Every politician waving a flag while gutting public schools
Every sheriff with a Punisher decal and a “thin blue line” bumper sticker
Every senator who funds war but won’t feed the hungry —
is a terrorist in a necktie.
Their bombs are budgets. Their battlegrounds are classrooms, hospitals, courtrooms, detention centers.
They don’t need guns. They have nationalism.
Your country is a corporation. Its anthem is PR. Its god is capital. And your body is just another asset on the books.
Burn the flag if you have to. But better yet — make it irrelevant.
You don’t need a nation. You need a future.
And nationalism is built to kill that.
